Certifications such as Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) and Certified Job Coach (CJC) may be beneficial. Prior roles that can lead to becoming a Job Coach include positions as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Disability Support Worker, or Career Counselor.
