Family Therapist Jobs in Georgia
A Family Therapist plays an integral role in the social service industry by providing therapeutic services to families, couples, and individuals to help them manage and overcome various family-related issues which may include conflict, communication breakdown, relationship issues, abuse, mental health disorders, and lifestyle transitions among others. Prior to becoming a Family Therapist, professionals often gain experience in roles such as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, which provide them with opportunities to develop the necessary skills and competencies required for their role as a Family Therapist.
