Child Support Officer Jobs in West Virginia
A Child Support Officer plays a crucial role in the social service industry by ensuring the enforcement of child support orders. They are responsible for locating parents, establishing paternity, and setting up payment processes for child support. They also investigate and handle cases of non-payment, working with other social service agencies, and the court system to ensure children receive the financial support they are legally entitled to. Prior to becoming a Child Support Officer, individuals may have roles such as a Case Worker, Child Advocate, or Family Service Worker to gain experience in the field.
