Working full-time, Monday through Thursday, for 30 hours a week at a high school near Bernalillo, NM, you'll serve as a key influence in shaping students futures. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid NM school counselor license preferred; will also consider candidates with administrative or various NM teaching licenses, including Level Three-B, PreK-12 Lifetime, 6-12 Secondary, 7-12 Lifetime Secondary, K-8 Elementary, K-8 Lifetime, PreK-12 Specialty, PreK-12 Special Ed, and more.
• Prior experience in a high school counseling or guidance counselor role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to student development and career readiness.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic, career, and personal counseling to high school students.
• Guide students through college and career planning processes, including applications, scholarships, and vocational exploration.
• Implement workshops and activities that enhance college and career readiness skills.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student plans.
