Job Description


Purpose:

  • Oversees the management of Children’s Outpatient Department and Enhanced Outpatient Services to insure that clinically sound services are rendered      

Supervision Exercised:

  • Supervises all staff within the Children’s BSU unit

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with strong clinical and administrative skills; five (5) years mental health experience; supervisory experience and knowledge of budget preparation and managed care systems        

Duties:

  • In conjunction with the Division Director, participates in an ongoing needs assessment and analysis to insure services are responsive
  • Oversees all clinical and administrative operations of the program on a daily basis
  • Oversees the facilitation of regularly staff meeting and clinical case conference
  • Makes recommendations for hiring; trains and evaluates staff performance; makes recommendation for staff development. Provides ongoing supervision
  • Manages budgets and finances to meet agency objectives
  • Ensures compliance with all pertinent regulatory and funder requirements
  • Approves programs purchases and expenditures
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of the outpatient program to provide services to children and families
  • Performs community outreach and educational activities, including presentations regarding program to schools and community groups
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as they relate to the overall enhancement of program service delivery.
