Mountain Lakes Humans Service Zone is offering a sign on bonus up to $10,600 to the successful applicant.

Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is seeking a dedicated and passionate CPS Case Manager for the Child Welfare/Family Services Department to support Child welfare services. Our mission is to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families in our community.

CPS Case Manager duties include but are not limited to:

• Assess reports of child abuse and neglect while ensuring compliance with policies, best practices and emergency intervention procedures
• Develop treatment plans, goals, and safety plans for caretakers and children
• Accurately document case details, conduct case planning meetings and connect families to essential services
• Collaborate with service providers, law enforcement, and legal entities
• Prepare affidavits and testify in court proceedings
• Maintain Flexibility with on-call scheduling and non-traditional working hours

To succeed in this position, you should have a passion for serving others and a desire to make a positive impact. You should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively and have demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse populations. You will need to have a strong understanding of program policies and laws. You will also need to be comfortable working with all types of software and database applications, with a willingness to learn new technology programs and have attention to detail.

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, behavioral health, and criminal justice.

Plus, one of the following:

Family Service Specialist III (SC7005):

• Two (2) years of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager.
• A master's degree may substitute for one (1) year of work experience requirement.

Family Services Specialist II (SC7004):

• One (1) year of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager.
• A master's degree in one of the above areas may substitute for the work experience requirement.

Family Services Specialist I (SC7004):

• No work experience required.

Frequent Travel throughout Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is required.
