Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to supervise our Multi-System Youth Relinquishment Prevention Program (MSY Program) Team. In 2019, the State of Ohio created the MSY Program, with the goal of preventing transfer of custody to the child protection system solely for the purpose of obtaining funding to access treatment. In State Fiscal Year 2024, the MSY Program received applications from over 1,300 families to provide technical assistance and funding to help young people who have extraordinary challenges in accessing and using clinically appropriate services, supports, and resources. As the MSY Program Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

planning, evaluating & directing the State's MSY Program

coordinating review of MSY Program applications

serving as lead MSY subject matter expert and business lead for design for implementation of MSY IT system

leading ODM MSY Program staff collaboration with partner state agency staff who participate in the State MSY Review Team

serving as the MSY Program liaison with community members and stakeholders and the OhioRISE Plan

leading MSY team collaboration with families and caregivers of children and youth served by the MSY Program

monitoring program outcomes and providing regular reporting to track trends and program outcomes

identifying and responding to training needs about the MSY Program for sister agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 24 mos. exp. in planning & administering health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data analysis).

-Or 24 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1, 65295. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
