Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced healthcare professional to supervise our Front Door Policy Unit within the Bureau of Long-Term Services and Supports. The Front Door Policy Unit works closely with Nursing Facility Policy in overseeing multiple programs to ensure access to Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS). Front Door Policy program areas include Ohio Benefits Long-Term Services and Supports, Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review, Level of Care, and Specialized Recovery Services. As the Front Door Policy Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

supervising staff responsible for Front Door Policy and Programs.

policy development and implementation, including revising and filing rules.

ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

communicating with internal and external stakeholders on Front Door Policy and Programs.

overseeing and evaluating policies/programs and identifying opportunities for improvement.

overseeing Front Door Policy system work and data analysis.

Qualifications

Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 24 mos. exp. in planning & administering health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data analysis).

-Or 24 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1, 65295. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
