Location:Fort Myers Area Command, Fort Myers, FLPosition Type:Regular ExemptPay Rate:$44214.72About this opportunity:Provides Mental Health assessment and counseling services to Triage Corrections clients who are identified with mental health and/or co-occurring mental health issues; coordinates and ensures access to necessary mental health and psychiatric services.Key responsibilities:Provides a mental health assessment on program participants who are identified with mental health needs.Provides crisis intervention services for program participants who are identified with immediate mental health situations which may require emergency services.Provides one mental health therapy group per week with program participants. The group must run for 1.5 hrs and be documented in the electronic records system.What we are looking for in you:Masters Degree in Mental Health or Social Work **AND**Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with the state of Florida.**OR**Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) **OR**License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).Must have a valid state drivers license.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to work a varied work schedule, includes evenings and weekend responsibilities.
