Applications accepted for another 7 Days 0 Hrs 56 Mins The Position Social Services Managers plan, organize, direct and manage the activities, staff and functions necessary to provide social services in an assigned region or district office and its satellites. Incumbents function as managers who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors; develop policies and procedures; and allocate staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives. We are seeking a Social Services Manager 4 to lead and manage operations in the Reno District Office. This position is responsible for directing the daily activities, managing all levels of staff, and programs within a full-service district office, including satellite locations, Outreach Services, and/or the TANF Employment and Training Program. The role operates under the general direction of a Social Services Manager 5. The Social Services Manager 4 will plan, organize, and oversee social service operations to ensure effective delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. This includes supervising and training supervisory staff, developing internal policies, allocating resources, and resolving complex and sensitive issues. The manager will also play a vital role in coordinating with other offices, community partners, and stakeholders to integrate services and improve program outcomes.
