Job Duties:

• The Child Welfare Services Case Manager Assistant provide services to remedy abuse, neglect and exploitations of self neglect of adults or children unable to protect themselves. Case Worker Assistant will assist Case Worker I with providing casework services. Working hours will be 8:30am - 5:00pm.

• Provides or arranges transportation to resources in the community as part of the social service side plan.

• Participates as a member of professional team to plan services clients.

• Makes referrals to service providers, family group conferencing,, Seneca Search, etc.

• Assists with the completion of various packets within the agency.

• Assists with the transportation of children.

• Assists with child and family visitation and teach appropriate parenting and household management skills.

• Assists with other administrative support functions to include drafting correspondences, copying, faxing, email, etc.

• Participates in Red Cross training and shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.

A High School Diploma and three (3) years of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.

An Associate Degree and one (1) year of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.
