Job Title: Psychotherapist – Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Delano, CA

Flexible Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $85/hr on 1099 + Sign-On Bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychotherapist (LCSW) to provide mental health and therapeutic services within a correctional healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will offer evidence-based psychotherapy, assess and treat individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote emotional stability, rehabilitation, and wellness among inmate/youth populations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted LCSW license in California
• At least 12months of recent experience within the last 2 years (excluding internships)
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Ability to work effectively in diverse environments, including housing units or inpatient settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health assessments and suicide risk evaluations
• Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy
• Develop and monitor treatment plans
• Perform mental status exams and collaborate on complex cases
• Assist with benefits applications and community referrals
• Support care transitions and discharge plannin
• Maintain documentation and participate in team meetings
• Ensure compliance with ethics, confidentiality, and reporting standards
