SUMMARY:
Lead Counselor will serve as the primary facilitator of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (NCTI) classes as well as work to
develop and implement ancillary life skills curricula as outlined by Program Director, including but not limited to, sexual
health and job readiness workshops, conflict resolution and anger management. In addition to leading workshops, the
Lead Counselor will oversee the daily educational hour and be tasked to monitor and ensure a pro-social group culture and
dynamic during all ERC events.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience
• Prior direct experience in the juvenile justice and/or child welfare system preferred. Prior experienced working
with children, youth, and families a must.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at the intermediate to advanced level
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate verbally in English, read written or typed information, communicate legibly in writing,
speak English clearly, and hear voice in conversational tone.
• Must be a team player, patient, flexible; and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
