LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a wellestablished organization in The Woodlands to hire a Benefits Specialist with a strong focus on Leave of Absence (LOA) administration. This role is ideal for a benefits professional who is personable, proactive, and comfortable stepping in to support a collaborative HR team.
Job Summary
The Benefits Specialist will focus on Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, including FMLA, personal, parental, and ADA leaves. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with leave policies, managing employee benefits related to leave administration, and supporting employees throughout the leave process, including pay and benefits continuation.

This job supports employees who need time away from work for health or family reasons. The Benefits Specialist makes sure the rules are followed, paperwork is handled correctly, and employees understand how their pay and benefits work while they are on leave.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage all employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, personal, parental, medical, and ADArelated leaves
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee LOA questions, ensuring a supportive and compliant experience
Coordinate with internal HR partners, payroll, and thirdparty vendors to ensure accurate leave tracking and pay continuation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and company policies
Maintain documentation, track leave data, and support audits as needed
Assist with broader benefits administration and provide team support as needed
Skill Requirements
MustHave Requirements
Experience in a comprehensive benefits role
Extensive Leave of Absence administration experience, including:
FMLA
Personal leave
Parental leave
ADArelated leaves
Ability to manage leave cases endtoend while maintaining compliance
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Strong communication and employeefacing skills
Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment
Handson, teamoriented mindset
