Clinician - Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care (IHBTC)
Pittsfield, MA + Berkshire County | Community-Based | Full-Time
If you want to build strong clinical skills while leading care for complex cases, this role gives you the autonomy, support, and exposure to do it.
You'll work directly with youth and families while coordinating care across systems?schools, DCF, DMH, and other providers?to create real, lasting change.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual and family therapy in home and community settings
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
- Lead wraparound care planning and coordinate across providers
- Partner with DCF, DMH, schools, and medical teams
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with program standards
- Guide families through complex behavioral health systems
What the Work Looks Like
- Community-based work across homes, schools, and local settings
- Mix of therapy, case management, and care coordination
- Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team (clinicians, family partners, case managers)
- On-call rotation shared across the team

What You Need
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- License-eligible (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) with plan to obtain within 6 months
- Experience providing therapy to children/families (1+ year preferred)
- Strong understanding of mental health and/or substance use
- Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates aligned with experience and licensure
- Mileage reimbursement
- On-call stipend + additional pay for active response
