The Workforce Specialist is responsible for all SOD and Crisis Line Counselor scheduling for the Crisis Line and processing timecards for Crisis Line Counselors. This includes time off requests, scheduling for all staff meetings, holiday schedules and any other special scheduling needs on the crisis line. This position will also monitor any attendance issues. The Workforce Specialist will monitor Release Code Usage and will coordinate with rest of team on when best times to conduct meetings, trainings or other times when Crisis Line Counselors need to be off the phones for the Crisis Line to maintain maximum efficiency with being able to answer calls. The Workforce Specialist will assist with all other duties as assigned. Your role in action: In coordination with the Operations Manager, will help develop and maintain permanent schedules for Crisis Line Counselors. Maintains Crisis Line Counselors' daily and special scheduling. Processes all requests for time off from Supervisors and Counselors, while maintaining maximum coverage for phones and supervisory coverage. Monitors and tracks all attendance concerns daily. Maintains confidentiality about all time concerns and requests. Processes timecards (including during disaster events) for Crisis Line Counselors every pay period. Assists with identifying needs for updates to Crisis Line Operational Guidelines regarding time and attendance. Learns and maintains working knowledge of WFM systems. Runs and provides weekly and monthly Release Code Reports for Crisis Line Counselors. Monitors staffing coverage and call volume to help guide in scheduling meetings and trainings. Adheres to the Standards of Behaviors and all Agency Policies and Procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned What qualifications will you need: Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience: 1 year of experience. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The person must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and be a team player with a desire to provide a high level of customer service. Possess strong oral and written communication skills and interact effectively at all levels within the organization. Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all work-related matters with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully at all levels of the agency. Must have strong computer skills (intermediate or advanced) including use and maintenance of electronic mail, Microsoft Office - especially Excel, and specific information systems. Proficient with typing and requires excellent organizational and time management skills.
