Midwest Autism Therapy is looking for a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! Tuition assistance

Some Responsibilities Include:

Provide center-based services

Ability to work with families and children with diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures and economic status.

Collect data for ABA programming.

Completes daily notes at the end of all sessions.

Communicate with caregiver and other supports

Remain in constant communication with BCBA

Attend supervision meetings with BCBA

Assist with program development

Performs other special projects and additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

  • Certification: Registered Behavioral Technician certification (RBT) - preferred

  • Reliable transportation

Other Requirements: Outgoing with high energy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective time management skills are a must.

Physical Requirements :

  • Able to sustain impact to the body (ie, being hit, etc.) in any area.

  • Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time. Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes. Full range of motion of hands and arms. Sitting on the floor and chair for long periods of time. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Move quickly from sitting to standing

  • Pass clinical background check

  • CPR/First aid within first 30 days of employment

  • Certification: Registered Behavioral Technician certification (RBT) - preferred

  • Reliable transportation
