Position summary
Provide organizations with technical assistance on interpretation of CARF accreditation standards. Share innovative clinical and business practices to enhance the care provided to the persons served. Utilize feedback from the field and current practices to identify opportunities for standard revision and creation. Engage with accredited providers to enhance and retain business relationships. Provides logistical support for new and existing customers to achieve and maintain accreditation. Opportunities exist to assist with recruitment, education and training of surveyors.
Compensation and benefits
The market entry salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $63,417 - $66,588 USD annually, payable semi-monthly. Actual starting salary is commensurate with education and experience. POSITION DESCRIPTION / QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a content expert and assist with interpretation of standards
- Guide organizations seeking accreditation for the first time as well as existing customers through the survey and accreditation process.
- Works well independently
- Able to work well in a team of Accreditation Resource Specialists
- Ability to develop rapport and relationships with diverse groups
- Works effectively and efficiently in a high volume and fast paced environment
- High level of cultural competency
- Provides effective feedback to individuals and organizations regarding preparations and maintenance of accreditation
- Ensure excellent customer service to promote business retention
- Interacts with existing customers to promote business retention and timely submission of applications and related materials.
- Support the surveyor cadre during regular education and training opportunities as well during surveys in process
- Provide operational support throughout the accreditation life cycle
- Proficient computer skills

Qualifications, education, and experience
The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully:
- Master’s degree and two (2) years’ experience in Aging Services; or a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years experience in Aging Services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Teams, PowerPoint (e.g., designing presentations incorporating graphics and imported data) and Outlook (e.g., arranging meetings, recurring reminders, and task management).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Does not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status, including but not limited to H-1B visa status.
WORK LOCATION
Based in Tucson, AZ, this position may be eligible for relocation assistance or full- or part-time (up to 2 days per week) remote work.
