The Cambodian Association of America (CAA) is the oldest Cambodian nonprofit organization in America and has 49 years of history serving the needs of the low-income children and families in the Greater Long Beach Area. 

Position: Clinical Supervisor (CS); Family Preservation (FP) Program.

Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the CEO, the CS will hold weekly clinical supervision with all professional staff, paraprofessional staff, registered interns, and all other staff who provide direct services under the FP Contract.

Duties and Responsibilities: The CS assumes the following duties and responsibilities: 

Hold weekly clinical supervision with all professional staff, paraprofessional staff, registered interns, and all other staff who provide direct services under the FP Contract. Clinical Supervision to be held individually at a minimum of one hour per week or as a group at a minimum of two hours per week.

Use Supervision Record (Technical Exhibit 32) for record keeping and maintain copies of sign-in logs, agendas and any other supervision materials. Clinical supervision records shall be made available to the CPM upon request.

Ensure that the IHOC maintains up-to-date FAF primary web-based Electronic Case Records system and hard copies case records and back up documents on each client and family service.

Review, sign, and date weekly IHOC contacts and Monthly Reports, and other required reports.

Attend all required meetings including FP Roundtable, Steering Committee, Task Force meetings, and other meetings scheduled by the COUNTY and maintain and make available to CPM upon request all verification of meetings held or attended.

Attend MCPC Prevention Plan Agreement meetings. In the event that the Clinical Supervisor cannot attend the MCPC meeting, a master’s level or higher program managing staff who have knowledge of the particular case may temporarily take their place. The clinician shall review, sign and date the MCPC Prevention Plan Agreement.

Prepare program reports in a timely manner and perform other related duties and clinical supportive services as assigned.
