Licensed Social Worker / Licensed Clinical Social Worker

River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve.

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in a school district in northern Allegheny County, for the 2025-2026 school year, as well as provide services to the students at River Academy of Excellence, which is a sister company of River Therapies, providing educational services to those with complex educational needs. This position will be a split position between the two schools.

As a member of the school team, you will work with school staff and administration, as well as families, for the betterment of each student

What You Will Do:

• provide daily therapy services (individual and group sessions) to students identified as requiring school-based social work services

• work within IEPwriter, completing progress notes each 9 weeks

• provide consultation to staff on social work topics for the betterment of each student

• participate in district in-services and attend trainings required by the position for the safety and well-being of all

• follow the school district’s daily and yearly calendar for times of employment

• complete daily documentation

• maintain communication with staff and families

• regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success

• maintain a weekly schedule

• promote a safe and welcoming environment for students

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant school-based experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Licensed Social Work or Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential in the state of Pennsylvania

• excellent communication skills

• professional and positive work ethic

• desire to work in a school-based setting

• passion for helping students succeed in their academic goals by promoting wellness and positive mental health

• clearances are required
