What are milestones when hiring through iHire's freelance marketplace?
Milestones break larger projects, or contract roles, into stages.
Each stage has:
- Defined deliverables
- A set payment amount
- Approval checkpoints
Employers need to fund a milestone payment amount in escrow before the work can start. Once a milestone is completed and verified by the employer, iHire will release payment.
