At Signet Health, we’re excited to present a unique opportunity for a Nurse Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services to join our team at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center.

Position Overview:

As the Nurse Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services, you will manage a 12-bed hospital-based geriatric inpatient behavioral health program. This highly visible role comes with strategic responsibilities, working collaboratively with Signet Health and hospital leadership to create a respected and cohesive program that serves the community effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the behavioral health inpatient program, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Manage budgeting and financial operations to support program sustainability.
• Develop and enhance referral networks to grow the program.
• Enforce compliance measures with state, CMS, and TJC accreditation standards.
• Establish and allocate resources effectively to achieve program goals and enhance effectiveness.
• Provide personnel management and foster staff development through mentorship and training.
• Conduct program analysis and evaluation to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience managing a hospital-based inpatient psychiatric program.
• Unencumbered Kentucky RN license; BSN required, MSN preferred.
• Working knowledge of state, CMS, and TJC accreditation standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
