Minimum Qualifications: 1) Licensed social worker (LCSW), preferably with a background in immigration policy and/or child protection; 2) Excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; 3) Exceptional written and oral communication skills, teambuilding skills, and passion for the plight of unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children; 4) Experience with social services delivery and the ability to be a well- respected and effective representative with agencies that have jurisdiction over unaccompanied immigrant children’s immigration proceedings and welfare within the US Government as well as equivalent agencies within the Guatemalan government; and 5) Fluent in Spanish and familiar with Latin American cultures.
