• 24 hour availability with a rotating pager on the weekends
• Having flexibility in your schedule to meet with your families
• Working well with others in a highly supervised atmosphere
• Having an understanding of extensive drive times
• Documentation that is on-line/ web-based and available to you from home

Basic Function: This position provides a quality of care consistent with team recommendation. Coordinates and supervisors all day activities of the adolescent female residents ages 11 – 21.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Supervise, recreate, discipline, and counsel troubled teenagers in a residential setting.
•Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
•Maintains an awareness of each resident’s emotional, physical and spiritual needs and refers her to other team members (when necessary) to meet those needs.
•Provides immediate therapeutic crisis, intervention in order to provide structure and discipline in line with policies.
•Implementation of recreational activities that make leisure time a positive rewarding experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: •Minimum High School Diploma
•Ability to care for children
•Valid, clean NY State driver’s license
•Acceptable background clearance

Good with people, Attention to detail and a team approach necessary. $10.25 per hour to start plus $.50 per hour shift differential for qualified hours. DOE.
