Job Title: Behavior Specialist Company: A Place To Call HOme Location: Tucson, AZ Description: The Behavior Specialist provides assessment and functional analysis of behaviors of children and adults for the purpose of designing and developing Behavior Treatment Plans, behavior strategies and interventions. Behavior Treatment Plans are submitted for review and approval by APTCH administration, the treatment team and the State Program Review Committee. This position works closely with milieu staff to collect data and monitor existing Behavior Plans. The Behavior Specialist develops, updates and provides on-going education to foster families and staff on behavioral dynamics, modification strategies, developmental milestones, fundamental parenting, etc. as a trainer of Agency curriculum. The ideal applicant has experience in behavior programming for developmentally/age-appropriate childhood behaviors, emotionally traumatized children and the DD and SMI populations (children and adults); he/she is able to dedicate the time necessary for training and is flexible in scheduling (as this is a salaried position).
