Job Title: Social Services Director - Louisville, KY Company: Company Confidential Location: Louisville, KY Description: We are currently recruiting for a Director of Social Services for a Long Term Care facility located in the Louisville, KY area. This position will be responsible for the daily operation of the Social Services Department and it’s staff.  Primary focus will be providing a plan of action for each resident’s emotional, social and psychological needs while at the facility, making sure that every step of their care is monitored, and implemented along with compassion and respect for the resident until their discharge. A list of responsibilities will be provided if you have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology or psychology regardless of facility bed size.  Bachelor’s degree in social work, or bachelor’s degree in a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology; AND One (1) year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals Approval from Home Office if no educational degree or if educational degree is other than those listed above AND Approved social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individualsExcellent verbal and written English communication skills.
