This mission critical position will conduct pre-bail investigations, pre-sentence investigations, supervise pretrial defendants, and post conviction offenders. The U.S. Probation Officer provides instructions and guidance to defendants\offenders, and provides overall oversight of defendants\offenders to ensure compliance with court imposed conditions, directives, or guidelines. This position may be assigned to the Little Rock or to the Jonesboro office in the Eastern District of Arkansas. District and statewide travel, and some out-of-state travel is required.
