(FSFSC) is seeking Family Support Workers to work in our Barry Farms Office located in the Anacostia section of the District of Columbia. PURPOSE: The Family Support Worker conducts home visits, documents interactions between children and family members during visits, reports issues, concerns and/or questions to the Program Coordinator. The incumbent also identifies and coordinates referrals on a wide variety of community-based resources and services for families, provides administrative functions which include but is not limited to: case planning/management, filing various materials for inclusion into client records; producing a variety of reports and documents and completing necessary forms. The incumbent may work on the Men and Boys/FEED team. You may be required to work evenings and/or weekend hours to accommodate the needs of program participants.
