Position Summary: Participates as a member of the Home and Intensive Out-patient Services Team (HIOPS) and the Crisis Prevention Outreach Team (CPO) to provide intensive specialized services for children, adolescents, and their caregivers in need of outpatient counseling services who are living in a group home, foster care or biological settings. This position is also responsible for stabilization and diversion away from psychiatric hospitalization and residential placement, referral to appropriate providers and community resources, and ongoing clinical oversight to meet mental health needs. Services are comprehensive, individualized, and are provided in clinic, home, educational, and other community settings and can include short-term case management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Master?s level degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field and a minimum of one year experience working with youth and families in the school, community or other related area, required. A minimum of one year post graduate experience providing clinical service to children and/or families in a mental health setting, preferred. Licensure preferred but not required.
2. Must be able to meet QMHP requirements under State of Oregon MHDD Division?s Administrative rules.
3. Experience working with the case management model required.
