DEPARTMENT: CDRP SCHEDULE: Full-time, Regular; 40hrs / week; Varied Shift EDUCATION: Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling Psychology from an accredited college or university LICENSE: California Clinical Social Worker or Marriage & Family Counselor QUALIFICATIONS: Psych Social Worker: Minimum of two years post licensure experience in the use of psychosocial assessment and psychotherapeutic methods and measures in a hospital, clinic or agency. Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, professional board standards as is related to client treatment, patient rights, and client / patient confidentiality. Must be able to work in a Labor / Management Partnership environment. Marriage Family Therapist: Previous post license, paid experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient setting / program under licensed supervision (usually two to four years). Knowledge of state regulations with regard to ethics, treatment, patient rights and confidentiality. Must be able to work in a Labor / Management Partnership environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in chemical dependency treatment of adults and adolescents in a multidisciplinary chemical dependency treatment program. DUTIES: Provides treatment and case management to chemically dependent and dually diagnosed Health Plan members, both adults and adolescents, in the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program. In consultation with medical, psychotherapeutic, and counseling staff, develops and monitors treatment plans for assigned caseload. Coordinates care within CDRP and in conjunction with other Health Plan and community services as needed.
