Crisis interventions are implemented in the community, emergency room, consumer residence and other areas as requested, using supervisory consultation as needed. Crisis intervention may include initial imminent risk evaluation to determine the level of danger to self, others or extent of being gravely disabled, with appropriate referrals to inpatient, outpatient and / or county designated mental health professional for involuntary inpatient investigations. Crisis intervention may include referral and / or active linking to community supports. Minimum Requirements Four years experience in a behavioral health related field. Education / Licenses / Certifications BA / BS required,  Master’s degree preferred.
