Social Service Assistant

Description:
40-hour per week position with benefits in shelter for victims of domestic violence. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: purchasing food and supplies; monitoring, securing and distributing donations; overseeing facility cleanliness and maintenance and providing back-up crisis line coverage. Work and / or volunteer experience related to domestic violence, social work and / or residential program; experience with crisis intervention preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills; knowledge of domestic violence. Computer experience and a reliable source of transportation required. Bi-lingual preferred. Starting $10.50 / hr.
