Major Duties:
MAJOR DUTIES
Assist the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) to comply with DoD requirements..
Assist in the administrative aspects of developing plans, programs, guidelines, and budget.
Maintains up-to-date database on community resources and services both on and off base.
Participates in the development of action plans for the SARC.
Uses advanced functions to generate tables of contents, import graphs or databases, create glossaries, and align columns.
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, the specialized must have been at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal Service or private sector.
OR
One full year of graduate education in a field which is directly related to the work of the position.
OR
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience are also qualifying. If education is used to meet specialized experience requirements, then such education must include courses directly related to the work of the position.

TDY for training is mandatory and requires some travel.
Incumbent must be completely trustworthy in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
This position requires a Secret security clearance.

Knowledge of Sexual Assault and Response Program requirements and procedures and basic methods and techniques of counseling.
Knowledge of word processing automation software functions to support office operations and produce a variety of textual documents, such as letters, reports, memos, and form letters.
Practical knowledge in developing an education curriculum with learning objectives and outcomes.
Skill in interviewing techniques.
Skill in typing: a qualified typist is required.
Ability to work well with others in a team setting; and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
